I've just...........
 
Stuck a $20 letter box in the ground outside my house and looked out past the showhomes to the city skyline and smiled to myself as I realised I now own a home in Melbourne with no mortgage.

Spent the day round there laying flooring and had to put the box up so that the bins can be delivered.

So 26 months after first getting an agent, we're home :)

Not my first night yet, not until Wednesday and still a fair bit for the builders to finish.

But thanks anyway, and believe it or not I'm sitting in a dry house, well apart from a big bottle of gin :beer:

Personally I'd be happy to own a house here along with a 100% mortgage, but first things first!

Just got in and have been round there since 8.30 am, we nearly finished the flooring and I'm picking up the van at 8.30m tomorrow.
