If you let him chew on your muff then you shouldn't even have to pay the one month.

Well the shippers turned up this morning, it was one guy on his own and he puffed and panted as he took my 6 boxes to the van:lol:

Ive done so much lifting in the past few days I feel incredibly weak and couldnt help him:o

I felt tearful as the van drove away, God these 'moments' keep cropping up - when you feel tearful.

We are taking Gordon to the vet this morning for an MOT to see that he is fit to fly and if there are any issues, we can get them sorted.

The Estate Agent said that our landlord said that it was a private agreement we signed about the 2 month notice period and 'we all signed it together'. Methinks that he is going to or already has forged Mr PP's signature - I wouldnt put it past him.

I told the EA that even if we had have been stupid enough to do this, I had contacted Ealing Housing Advice - legal section and they said it wouldnt stand up in court and is in no way legally binding.

He is going to get back to us but we have said no way is he getting an extra month.

I am alot calmer today but we all know in this situation how our emotions can change and we do seem to have had one continuous battle with various people.

Paypal are still refusing to lift my limits on my account. Their system failed when I tried to do it through the website, they said their system failed and I have to fax a letter stating who I am and how much I need plus send them some utility bills and what I want the money for.

Bastards, its Gordons money for his export, although there is only £274.00 left in the account, they said I can only have £100 - next month and the rest can be drawn out in Feb 2009.

I asked if I could close the account and they said I cant as there is still money in it, even though they wont let me draw it out and their system is still not letting me lift the limit.

I hate the paypal staff, so robotic in their responses. Anyway, I have faxed a letter and some utility bills telling them what I want the money for and lets hope for the best.

It has been one long fight to be honest and I cannot believe how people try and fleece you when you end contracts etc.

And when it all happens at once it is doubly hard.

Still, I am getting tougher by the day, I shall be able to mud wrestle Soapy soon.

Our landlord said the flat needs new carpets, even though the ones when we moved in were nearly 20 years old.

He said he is keeping our deposit, he has never returned a tenants deposit yet.

Still, I am not going to do any cleaning and we will just walk away. The agent said he is going to check the inventory to see what we need to replace.

It is illegal to fine a tenant for anything by charging above and over the deposit.

So he can stick his inventory where the sun doesnt shine because we are not paying him anything.

I checked out my rights so I know what is what.

Im feeling a bit better actually, dreading my leaving party and saying goodbye to my friends/family, its going to be emotional.:(

Good luck with your leaving party I hope you enjoy yourself and forget all the stress. I had mine on Saturday and ended up singing wham songs on the karaoke and have now lost my voice (which is a good thing because I can not sing). Excellent night but I did not shed a tear i think it will all come flooding out when i get my visa.

I feel like Im on a journey and now there is nothing left to do but to sit back and enjoy the ride.

I found it hard when someone came to look at our furniture, :( but now we are coasting and cant settle, its the waiting now.

It will be hard for me when Gordon gets taken to the kennels :blink:

You know I have had an awful headache for the past couple of weeks, Im taking painkillers everyday. Its a tension headache that refuses to go until Ive taken something.

I know painkillers are bad for you but its hard to function with a tension headache and even my yoga relaxation techniques and herbal stuff isnt touching it. My GP said its stress.

IT's gonna be hard PP, but do try and enjoy your remaining time there. Do try and relax and cherish the time you have left. There's a whole new adventure out there waiting for you, it's exciting :D

Its no wonder you have a headache the amount of stress you have been through. I know i sound like a mum but water and fresh air are important. Stress headaches can wipe you out I have to take meds when i get them.

Poor you having to take Gordon to the kennels I hope he has a good journey.

I have been showing tenants round my house and was getting very stressed about people living in my home. But a nice family want to rent it and the women loved it so much she keeps coming round to see it. I hope it will all be sorted this week and I am going to move in with my bestfriend and wait for the dam visa to arrive.

Hope you have a good week and feel better soon:thumbsup:

I am astounded at the emotions I am feeling. I thought I pretty much knew who I was but by God am I shocked recently.

Today I was getting quite short fused with Mr PP, and vice versa. I was walking down the street with him from the station and I had this urge to run and keep running, away from what I don't know.

Last week I was fighting with everyone and this week I want to run from everyone, Im cracking up. I just can't wait till I am on the plane if that makes sense.

Yet today I was able to do some serious negotiating with a manager about a member of his staff and how she has been treated, I surprised myself with how I dealt with it and then I come home and Im all over the place.

One thing though, we have a buyer who wants ALL of our furniture including quilts and bedding:p

And our landlord phoned up to apologise to Mr PP about how he has treated us. We still are not getting our deposit back but as he is replacing all the carpets and we don't have to clean then that is fair enough.

The apology was genuine and meant everything to me, this fighting has really got to me.

I am taking pride in the small things that I am achieving such as opening my Westpac account and Ozforex and managing to transfer our money.

Also sorting out all of my references except for two and they are on their way, so all these little targets that I can do, I give myself a pat on the back so to speak.

When I feel snappy/short fused I tell myself that Mr PP and I are fighting for the same thing so we shouldn't get snappy with each other and he is as stressed as I am.

I guess I am scared because we are not going with the finances others are and I am scared about being new in the workplace again and getting bullied again, it kills your confidence.

This is one journey that only we can control I suppose and the only way to start it is by looking forward.

Its bloody hard though and I still have my headache - 2 syndol later.
