It's finally hit me....
That emigrating to the other side of the world with no family and friends
is going to be more difficult than I thought
It's my birthday today, and my family have wrote some lovely words in my cards, and I've spent the morning crying!
It's the first time since we booked flights etc that I've got all emotional and the realisation is kicking in.

Think of it as an adventure rather than a final destination. Miles are just miles but family and friends will be with you always. Good luck in your new adventure manc!

christmas and birthdays are always the hardest..... and have to say three christmases in it hasnt got any easier
BUT there's no point making yourself feel bad about it now, try and stay positive or you'll just end up bringing yourself down and find it harder to settle
