Youngest son has been extremely indecisive as to what he wants to do now he has left school.
He has been toying with the ideas of either police force/fire fighter/or the defence force.
he has decided to go with the Australian Airforce and signed up last week.
I am not over the moon with his decision, but its his life...................
At least all that hair will be cut off!!

He will have the time of his life, I did a stint in the army and look back at it with fond memories, although at the time it didn't seem that flash, tough place to be in the late 70's

But i think he is making a great decision and you should support that. My middle child who will be 14 soon is joing the Air Cadets in UK as he wants to be a pilot. I am worried but excited about his choices.
Good luck to your son, he's a good looking guy (get that hair sorted though lol).

The hair will be sorted pretty soon.......he has grown it so he can participate in the World Headshave!!!
At the moment he is still at Bunnings (Mindarie), going to make sure I make all my purchases that i need before he leaves as he gets a discount there!!

Instead I did a few posts saying "renth help needed' but obviously you didnt see them.
it was about a month ago when we went, on a friday. I was hoping maybe some one down there would have a quick chat with him just to fill him in, but they just gave him a number to ring!!

I think it shows you've done a good job with him that makes him want to serve the country. Both me and him wanted to join the RAF (didn't know at the time) and were both turned down on medical grounds. I hope he has a brilliant time and stays safe if or when he does see active service.
Many congrats to him.
