No you should use normal long grain rice. I find adding a chicken Buhna also helps as can a popadum or two but don't .........whatever tou do.......even think about lime pickle

hi lynn

my wee boy left his ds outside for a week and it was soaking, put it on the radiator and tried the rice, took about 2 weeks for it to dry out!!

Did you never get taught to check the pockets before you wash stuff :D Hope it dries out OK.

Hi,

Just wanted to let you all know that the rice trick worked and my daughters ipod is once again functional :) I just left the earphones sitting on the bench in the kitchen and they even work :)

I've got one happy child again.
