Wink Interesting Aussie cooking ingredient!

...and people say Aussies aren't racist!

Cook-book misprint costs Australian publishers dear

An Australian publisher has had to pulp and reprint a cook-book after one recipe listed "salt and freshly ground black people" instead of black pepper.

Penguin Group Australia had to reprint 7,000 copies of Pasta Bible last week, the Sydney Morning Herald has reported.

All I'll say is there is a certain brand of cheese you just wouldn't get away with in the UK!

Funny you should say that, there was another mis-print in that cookery book ... capsicoon ...

And the cover was a big iron pot on a beach with a bloke in a pith helmet in it.

All this evidence adds up.

I guess no-one has been told that they have to be offended by it yet. If it were Britian the overly PC media would be telling everyone what to think....so there would be no ambiguity!

Well if you look at the links on the right of the BBC article you'll see it was reported in The Age and SMH.
