I honestly do see the funny side of it, but we were worried for a bit there and it's really got me thinking that WHAT IF some weirdo was reading this stuff? I think I've had too much gin/wine this weekend.
So Sandra's back on the Xmas card list then
Stella, that's a double you owe me.
Now, where's that "how to play practical jokes" book?
Actually, way off topic, but my Dad did a great joke on my ex boyfriend whom he couldn't stand. Dad is a butcher and he got one of his guys to hide in the chest freezer and told the ex to go get him some sausages from the freezer, at which point the other guy jumped out. Ex nearly shit his pants!!!! It was just about the funniest thing I'd seen in ages - he ran out of the shop screaming!!Gill

In this day and age , where women can be confronted and attacked in broad daylight. Its seems sad to see that a fright like that can be deemed "funny"
Women at the end of the day return home sometimes alone....
Joke....???
Meets would have to be looked at in more detail before I'd feel okay about it.
Not impressed!!!

I agree, I didn't find it funny. I would think twice before going to another meet. We should take it as a warning and not allow folk like Alison & Karen to walk to the train station alone............

Look at what you posted tonight and put yourself in our husband's shoes. If you thought Stella was out in Dundee and someone posted that, you'd have been worried too.
Anyway, let's draw a line under it. No harm done, and actually it's probably been good as it's reminded us all that this is a public forum and we should think carefully about what we post, and as you say, it's all a bit of fun.
BTW - you any good at decking?
