Default Inane idle holiday poll - Footwear - what do you wear -

I quite like thick socks and Blundstone type boots even in summer providing you change 'em every day. Nothing worse than dropping a hammer on your foot when barefoot or in thongs or having a rideon mower incident.

Crocs, I have a variety of styles. They are the best thing for my feet but I have smart thong/sandals for if we go out. I own 1 pair of trainers.

Canvas sandals, easy and lightweight. To be a true local though where I am I really should be wearing work boots and socks or have bare feet .

Colorado double strap open toe sandals with socks. Maybe not an impressive look, but its bloody comfortable in all weathers, and good to walk medium distances in.

I had a female boss at work who teased me about it incessantly for about 6 months, that just made me stick to the style more.

If its comfortable, why not. And anyway, why was she looking at my feet all the time

Sandals - everything from butch Birks to gold and glitzy. Flat unless I'm going out at night (and don't have far to walk).

For work Deb & I both wear steel toe caps [mandatory on most sites] King G toe capped runners or toe capped Dunlop volley's are the easiest when tiling over baths, showers etc.
For general leisure wear I wear leather scuffs, I loathe the bit between the toes with thongs.
On the boat or around the house it's bare feet all the way.
Going out I wear a decent pair of Williams dress boots with jeans or long pants
I've been known to get to destinations with nothing on my feet having forgotten to put anything on before leaving so I have "Emergency Footwear" under the seat of both vehicles if it's somewhere posh
