No, we lived in Shropshire for a while when I was a kid. In those days (early 70s) the two big teams up there were Forest and West Brom. The boy I used to play football with was a West Brom fan, so said to my Dad, who should I support and he said Forest so I became a Forest fan and many Midlands derbies were then enacted in our back garden
I've just stuck with them ever since.
