Had my ' last ' Christmas party last night and have just under two weeks left to work.

OH seems worse than me at the Moment.......a man thing i think , he just wants to provide for his family.

Hows your little fella doing , has he finished school yet ? Is he excited yet ? My little girl woke from her sleep the other night crying :(

I got a few more do's to go...not looking forward to them really. Kinda dreading Christmas day now :(

The providing thing is a biggy isn't it, real worry.

He's okish, some days he can't wait to get there, other days he announces he's not going. He was upset Friday, we've sent one of the cats to my sister's for a trial run, and he didn't want him to go. Feel mean, you know. Guilty. He's got another two weeks at school yet, I dread his last day. He sat at the table writing something the other day, looking very worried - I asked him why "I can't think of anything to write" - I looked and he'd written Dear Miss Sutton and the whole class - that's as far as he'd got bless him. He said he wanted to write to them saying how much he was going to miss them :( 5 year's old! Shouldn't really be worrying about it should he!! He'll soon forget... I hope

I'm rambling now lol :o

You are not rambling, you are just scared and I know that feeling too well.

One minute I am in control of my 'to do list' and the next I wake up and think 'what do I do next and how do I do it?'

This to me, is the part of the process that nothing can prepare you for. You can worry all you like about the TRA and the visa not to mention the medicals but to truly understand this stage, you can only do so by going through it yourself.

I liken it to your parent walking you to the school gates and leaving you at that point and you know you are on your own.

You are entitled to panic, you are entitled to be scared and you are more than entitled to have a cry if you want.

I am due for my cry tomorrow I should think and I have several more 'episodes' planned for later:rofl:

Good luck Clippies, it is the last hurdle from the UK side and you will be fine.

Love Samantha (who is sharing the same blanket of panic):o

I have done stuff like:

1. People to contact (ending contracts) - then a list below of companies.

2. Employment file - companies to contact - for references
Resumes
Certificates to sort out

3. Health file - GP stuff, vaccinations

4. Banking file - statements etc.

5. Cleaning (shoes etc)

6. Packing - form filling for boxes

Just that sort of thing really - I have re-written stuff and have lists everywhere, but it makes me feel better:o

I have found that when I am able to tick things off the list I feel so much better. I have only done one thing on my list today:o

Tomorrow I shall be more organised.

I have to start wiping the hard drive of my PC, saving music/pictures and stuff. I cant do that till my external hard drive arrives next week.

I shall get loads done tomorrow as Mr PP is working.
