The drive sounds good mate. We were going to drive to Adelaide xmas before the weather turned to shit.

Will definitely do it some time.

We were looking at the Adelaide drive along the coast at the end of the month, but have now decided to do Canberra instead (back through the mountains).

If you could knock up a Google Map of your route that you could share with any comments on good bits and bits to avoid that would be awesome for us all who will follow in your footsteps.

That's what I thought when I bought one, only to sell it 18 months later after using it about 10 times:o

I drove the coastal route, and Cas is flying over here at the end of my stay and we're taking a few days to drive back. The South Australian coast is pretty cool, loads of salt flats, caves around Mt Gambier, pretty port towns like Robe, and some stunning seascapes if you're into that sort of thing. Personally, I wouldn't mind going on a wind farm tour, those windmills stretching for miles along the coast look amazing.

I am in the CBD for 2 weeks, but working odd hours. I'm not around from about 9-4 have a break and then again 7-9pm roughly.

But after that is fine:)
