Long long ago, driving along Broadway in Sydney, I was watching pretty girls in short skirts going into the UTS Campus.
The inevitable happened, and I ran into the back of the car in front.
The driver leaped out, and I was expecting a degree of hostility. Instead in a very very gay/camp voice he said "ooooooh - you have gone right up my rear end"
He then started demanding my phone number. "Ooooh we have to swap phone numbers dear"
The accident want so bad, but having this guy camping around in the middle of the road was so embarrassing.

There's always a price to pay and maybe that experience has deterred you from further mishaps

Whiplash sneaks up on you. I hope that you can get some relief- try alternating hot and cold packs on it.
