I was thinking of doing coq au vin, but beef stroganoff won,
also just found good recipe for wiener Schnitzel, I shall do that tomorrow,
mmm not very good with British cooking I bet shepherds pie is dead easy to make, is it the same as cottage pie? what do I put in Irish stew that sounds intersting, Fried chicken its another good idea i havent done corn fritters for ages so I'll try it, for next week.

Irish stew has loads of versions usually lamb chops or neck end of lamb, potatoes carrots and onion
or you can use beef and add some guiness or stout.

I love Satay chicken but you wouldnt know the recipe for the Satay by any chance i dont do ready meal dishes if I can help it, we use to go this Malaysian restaurant in Soho London, it use to make the best Satay dishes, oh my god my mouth is watering.

Please send me the recipes, do you fry the lamb with onion befor you add other stuff to it, or do you just put the lot in a pot & cook it slowly?

I joined the Masterfoods website and they send recipe ideas by email or ninmsn has the recipes from the Fresh cooking show that's on channel 9 in the morning.

I love Kangaroo meat but I hate the smell of it we had nice mint & red wine sauce on it roasted so yummy, We are Prawns family I just love it, also totally mad about Mussels my own recipe of course.

Balinese Chicken Satay (serves 4)
1 smalll onion, chopped
1 clove garlic,chopped
1 tbsp peanut oil
1 tsp chilli powder
155ml can coconut milk
75g roasted salted peanuts,finely ground
1 tbsp soft dark brown sugar
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
To make sauce -
Process onion and garlic to a paste in a food processor. Heat the oil in a heavy based saucepan and fry the paste for 5 minutes, stirring. Mix in the chilli powder,then the remaining ingredients. Bring to the boil,stirring, then simmer for 10 minutes.

I did chicken Teriyaki about 3 weeks ago got the sauce from a Japanese shop, it was so yummy, then last week I bought a different brand Teriyaki sauce from the Woolies it was discussing, got to go back to the Japanese shop to stock up.

yes you cover the meat in flour braise the meat and soften the onion first cover with stock add veg (carrots swede an a stick of celery all chopped) a pinch of thyme and bring to the boil then simmer for 20 mins add the potatoes and simmer for 15 to 20 mins until the taters are cooked add red wine or guinness with the potatoes
