Default Ice cream

Do you still eat ice cream during the cooler months?

And if so, how often?

I only answered 'yes' and didn't specify the frequency as it wouldn't be as often as once a week, we don't really eat it that often during the warmer months either

Probably a couple of times a month, on average, throughout the year.

(That went for the UK too)

I hardly touch the stuff, but I think there's people who eat it all year round... I read a survey that there's more ice cream bought in winter months ... couldn't quite believe that really.
Probably done in Iceland.

Every day is a potential ice cream day

I was at the tennis with the kid not so long back in monsoonal conditions and there we were, munching on ice cream ... one usher actually said 'I never thought I'd see someone with an ice cream today'.

How about gelato? Or are you avoiding dairy?

If i can cope with a 99p ice cream cone growing up as a child while visiting Scarborough/Bridlington on the promenade and it was blowing a gail and it was freezing i think i can hack one here all year round

Yeah I tend to avoid dairy, not for health reasons but just because I don't like it.

I also find sorbet to be far more refreshing/cooling than ice cream.

I put no, but I don't have a rule about not eating ice cream in cooler months. I just eat ice cream less frequently than in the other options, maybe once every month or two.

I love sorbet too but give me a dairy-free gelato and I'll eat it every day.

There's a place on Glebe Point Rd in Sydney that does one or two, so it's possible. A little place that opened up in Singapore doing rather wacky flavours once made me some soy ice-cream; it was actually very good.

We tend to have ice cream if we visit certain places for example if we drive to Noosa we'll often have an ice cream from the New Zealand ice cream shop.
My dad & my son are ice cream connoisseurs, they have ice cream anywhere & anytime in their quest for the best

You are obviously very young... 99p would have brought the entire Mr whippy van when I was a lass...

10p for a 99 flake with nuts and chocholate sauce was a once a year treat

Why were they called 99s anyway???
