I wonder why?
Here's one that's still making me ponder. And I can't really fathom a reason.
A couple of weeks ago we were invited down to the local RSL for some afternoon tea. The head man for fund raising in Victoria was coming for a visit and handing out a few thank you certificates to various peeps and organisations.
During his short speech he mentioned that the fundraising total for Victoria (ANZAC and Poppies) amounted to more than all the other states and territories put together. When asked (later) why this was so he just said there were more volunteer fund raisers in Victoria.
I wonder why?
