So, for those of you that Wii Fit.... do you really like it? Do you use it much? I've been thinking about getting one for a while, but I haven't heard to many opinions on it.

My 4.5 year old wants it because she likes the Hula Hoop part on the commercials :D

i fully recommend the wii fit...we use it every day, it helps my 14 year old cos she is exercise shy but loves the step arobics. My 5 year old likes the football and me and the girls have competitions over the hula hoop. Get one if you can.

Does anyone know where the best place to get them is? (ie... the cheapest :D)

I've debated about trying to get one now, or to wait until before or after Christmas, thinking they might be cheaper???

They will be cheaper now than if you wait until say November. After Christmas stores will be low on stock. I'd say buy now if you need one. I'd send ya one but it wouldn't be compatible with your telly or any of the games sold there!

Target Australia appears to carry them, and Target here in the US has been a reliable supplier of all things Wii.

Here's a list of suppliers:

If you work a bit at it, like getting up at midnight to check online inventory and the weekend newspaper adverts  you can get one. Talk to the folks who work at the stockists and see if they can advise you of when they tend to have stock, or if any promotions are coming up.

Good luck!

Too bad they won't work from North America. I was just in Canada a month ago and would loved to have brought one back for $75!

I guess I'll have to have a look around then. I will go ahead next time I see one.

Over here in the West Big W had quite a good bundle that included the wii fit. You could always put it on layby if you didn't want to pay for it all now.

We've already got the Wii and about 8 games. Just want (not need) the Wii Fit. I'll try Big W though, I think they seem to have the cheapest price on them.

I got my wii fit from Toys r us for $130, cheaper than most around my neck of the woods at the time.

Maybe there should be a game called Wii in the Garden where kids can pretend to run around a garden, climb trees, build tree houses, kick a ball about, play frisbee, etc... :D

Yeah but that would mean that the kids dont go outside....when its not pouring with pigging rain here my kids are at the park or in the garden, coast etc etc.

The wii fit is fantastic when the kids cant get out or refuse to do PE at school like my eldest. :D

Nope.
UK Wii and Oz Wii are both PAL and games from either country run fine. You only need chipping if you buy games from US or Japan (I think) which are NTSC format.

oh and try JB HiFi for Wii Fit - they have loads in there and cost $130 when I bought one....

I'd greatly appreciate what else I should get - wii fit, sports, controllers, bundles, memory cards etc ! The kids are 6 and 8. I'm a little older.

You can get the old games off the internet once you link them up for peanuts and my son loves that old stuff that we think is so dated as it's all new to them.
