Hi i am in the process of applying for Skilled – Independent (Migrant) visa (subclass 175), i have have the TRA. i have over 25 years of hairdressing experience, worked for Wella as a hair technician and i am a qualified teacher.

Could you take the IELTS test? I believe that can "earn" you extra points? Or have you considered the 176? You only need 115 points for that one.

Hi - yeh have thought of doing IELTS, did start to revise for it....its not easy and being dyslexic put me at a slight disavantage with the test.

Is the 176 visa regonal? - if so we have looked into it but the 175 gave more flexibility.
