I need a drink
Hi,
We are moving to Mackay on 3rd October. Can't wait. Everything has moved so fast. All my furniture is being shipped next week. No time for the big farewell party I planned to have. So instead I have organised farewell tea's for the kids and their closest friends. Today I have 10 children aged 10 & 11 over at my house. OH MY GOD!!!! It's manic. I can't belive how load and OTT the kids are, but they are all having fun and my son is happy. I'm going to need a few glasses of wine tonight to recover. I've got to do it all again tomorrow for my 8 year old and all his friends. I must be mad!!

I survived they kids parties! It's been manic but my boys totally enjoyed themselves. It's sad really as they have got so many good friends and I know they will miss them but on the other hand I know that they will make loads of new ones.
Same for us really. We are moving and not knowing anyone. It's a brand new adventure for us all. Can't wait!

Yes it is a small world. I live in Nash road which is a road off Ashdown drive!

Oh my god! How exciting. Good luck.
We have got the shippers coming tomorrow and fly on 3rd Oct (hopefully), we still haven't had confirmation of our flights from OH's company in Mackay. Keep chasing it up but I'm sure everything will get sorted. I feel like there is still so much to do. I am packing all our clothes and items we want to take today. Moving out of the house Friday. I can't wait to go. When you arrive let us know how you got on with everything. We will only be 2 weeks behind you.
