I hate weekends
#1
I have spent the last 3 hours in casualty with my eldest son. He went playing golf with his friends this morning when one of his mates accidently hit him in the face. All the kids panicked as you can imagine when blood is spurting out. :scared:
Middle son quite calmly comes home saying there has been an accident NO1 son has a nose bleed.
In actual fact his nose isn't bleeding but he has a large gash across the bridge of his nose. Cleaned up it needs stitches .
As soon as he saw the blood he fainted. Poor kid.
So off for another visit to casualty (last year he split his head open) .
My son hates hospital and the mere sight of one sends him in a cold sweat.
Dr is brill gives him steri strips and a plaster to stop him picking at them.
He is now lapping all the sympathy, his mate has just been over with a bar of chocolate to say sorry, the lad thought i was going to shout at him.
Boys will be boys but i still hate weekends.

I gave him paracetemol before we went to hospital, as i had a funny feeling he would need it.
His friend was nearly in tears when he called to say sorry. I have had 10 kids all calling round to see his war wound LOL
Thank god for Monday, the kids are watching a quiet dvd now .

Poor kid, I hope hes feeling better soon.
I took my boy to golf this morning. He managed to knock my glasses off with his club and he was only taking it out of the bag, hadnt even took a swing
. Poor lads face, I think he thought I was going to shout at him but when he saw me laughing he nearly peed himself
Middle daughter has also hit me in the face with a club. That was a few years back on holiday in Florida. Must have been stood too close to her on the crazy golf, smacked me right between the eyes when she took a swing, luckily my sunglasses seemed to save me that time
. She didnt even look upset, thought it was bloody hilarious. I really need to learn to keep my distance, theyre all getting a bit big now

He's told me next time he goes he will wear a helmet LOL
He is feeling a little better now no PE or swimming for a week but im sure he will survive.
he thought he would have to stay off school but Dr was quite happy for him to go to school.
Kids need a safety warning with them .
At least you didnt get hurt when your daughter hit you, it wasn't taped was it ?
(you have been framed )

I became very well acquianted with the local casualty unit when I was a kid. I'm like some sort of shit-magnet - if something can wrong, it will when I'm around. I've head teeth knocked out, nose, arm and leg broken, head fractured, shoulder dislocated, all fingers broken, knee dislocated and, thanks to various blunt-force traumas, intermitent epilepsey. I've been run over three times on a push-bike and once on foot. I've been in several serious car accidents, one of which I went through the wind-screen. I've been poisoned, mugged, beaten up and nearly drowned. My mother said she's constantly amazed I've lived this long - and the missus prays that I haven't handed on my special gene to our son. All things being equal though, I wouldn't change a moment and, as the man said, what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.

So far he has split his head open twice, broke his arm when he was nearly 2 (jumped out of his cot) and suffered a absess on his wind pipe after getting chicken pox. oh and had a hernia at 10months old which needed surgery.
Yep he sounds like he may have 'hutch' syndrome LOL
i think he needs a padded cell LOL

Totally fed up with weekends at the moment. Thank god hubby is home on Thursday for a long weekend. At least all the boys are asleep in bed, while i was at the hospital my dad took the other 2 boys and dogs for a long walk, totally knackered them out. Im going to have a large drink and a soak in the bath .
I'll be at the gym on Monday to shake off the stress.
