I really, really must never, ever buy Lurpak again.

Normally we have Bertolli Light and I have a tiny bit on an occasional piece of toast .. this weekend I have had crumpets and toast by the plateful (not to mention sharing the malt loaf with YoungestChild) - all because there was Lurpak in the fridge.

Too right Has to be Wensleydale, though.

When I was a kid we used to have a massive dark fruit cake for Christmas, and another lighter one for New Year because we'd have eaten the other one by then and we had to have one for the first visitor of the year to cut. Mum would get 2 whole baby Wensleydales to go with them.

Malt Loaf with butter on - yum. Part of my childhood. Must be over 30 years since I had any.

I have a bread maker (had it for years) but have found that it makes great raison bread, loads of cinnimon honestly it's great. I also do pizza base and garlic bread base in it for those pizza nights, I add loads of stuff to the mix herbs and spices. hardly used the bread maker in the UK, love it here.

I also found 'helmans' mayo in coles, each time I have to buy loads 'just in case'

on a sad note - I have just eaten my way through my UK supply of foxes cream biscuits and mcvities gold bars.

I just remembered somebody told us on BE last week that it was British week at Aldi, dammit I think it started last Thursday, OK off now to see if there is anything left, hoping there are not too many Brits in Fairy Meadow Aldi fighting in the aisles for the last packet of Hob Nobs.
