Re: I can't sleep, is this normal?!
We finally got our ENS visa granted yesterday and I'm now lying in bed feeling like my heads going to explode with everything going through it at the moment! I normally sleep like a log so this is hard for me, is this just temporary or is it how it's gonna be for the next few months?!
We move out of our house next Friday and at 3am this morning I decided to have a panic about it
I did the honourable thing and woke the other half just to let him know how I was feeling
I'm sure it's only going to get worse.......... good luck with everything

Unfortunately, it seems to be part of the process!
I used to wake up, plan things & sort things out in my head, finally fall back to sleep just before the alarm went off & not be able to remeber any of what I had thought about!
If I was very awake, I would get up & come on BE but I seriously doubt if I was coherent....nothing new there before anyone says it!
Good luck to all of you going through the run up to the big move

Tell me about it, I had one of those "can't sleep" nights last night, now I'm sat here absolutley knackered with a headache and 2 kids on half term with loads of energy.

Well done Jen. If I can do it I am sure you can get through it all. Yes, its normal to feel that way so just go with it. Sleep is over rated anyway

Re: I can't sleep, is this normal?!
I received my PR in august, before that I was so enthusiastic about
Australia that I couldnt think of the post visa grant scenerio at all ,
two day after getting visa I realised that this is the begining of new
problems , the self talk started driving me nuts, all the Oh my God
what if bla bla bla started, but now after three months I am getting
a little used to the thought that my new home is 11000 kms away
and the home where I lived for 26 years is not my actual residence
anymore but I guess thats what migration is all about, I always loved
Australia and I am happy that I am getting prepared to move to that
sweet country.
