Unhappy How are you finding the UK housing market at the moment.

Our buyers, buyer has dropped out and broken the chain...

We had flights booked for the 5th of November as well. They where just so cheap... Not to OZ but to Ireland to visit parents before we leave on the big one...phew'

I have told our buyer not to worry and I'll hold on to the house for him for another month. Did I do the right thing?

So I was just wondering how are you finding selling your houses, has it gone slow out there?

We where so near as well...

Sorry to be the harbinger of doom but we put our house on the market 6 weeks ago and have not had one viewing.

Have now dropped the price by £35,000 to see if we can at least get people through the door, will have to keep everything crossed or wont be going anywhere for a while.

Oh well at least the exchange rate is f***ed also. Happy days

Our house has been on the market for two days and we have had 16 viewings already, cant cope with them all queing down the front path!!....thought it was odd, after a quick check it appears that the Estate Agent missed a couple of zero's off in the advert! - £1470 for a 3 bed semi

sorry probably in bad taste that!

We have been on the market three weeks today, and had 10 viewings and several near offers. A guy who veiwed on day ten came back on friday and put in an offer, we turned it down and he called back the agent on monday with a really acceptable offer!! Engaged a solicitor today and the balls rolling!!! Stll waiting for the 457 though! The waiting game with immigration is worse!! Good luck everyone....

Rubbish here too!

Been on market since June. Got "buyer" in first week who pulled out after 6 wks when market was seriously slowing down. Not so much as a sniff since :curse::curse:

Have reduced by £10k and will accept part exchange to release some equity and perhaps rent out smaller property. EA keeps saying things are improving.........wish it would bloody well hurry up

Same here - Our buyers buyer cant get a mortgage so its back to square 1. Looks like we are going to have to take an extra holiday in order to validate our visas

DIRE

Been on the market since January, had 3 viewings, 1 didn't turn up.

Dropped house by 10K, changed estate agents, can't afford to rent it out.

Not sure what else to do now, except give it away!!!(I'm sure they would be queuing round the corner if I did that:curse::curse::curse:
