Followed by an announcement of 1,000 jobs lost in the City of London yesterday, with another 20,000 to go within the next 6 months, Places like Dresdner, and Deutsche bank and others in the Merchant banking industry being hit very hard. |

Beautiful day here today in Lincoln - had two interviews this morning and no sooner had I got home when the phone rang - got offered the job from first interview! Thank goodness, did not like the people at all at the second interview, really po faced no humour there at all!.
