Re: How often do you go 'home'?
I've been back six times in 30 years so that makes an average of every 5 years although I did have a 9 year gap between visits once. I only go to visit relatives and catch up with old friends.
I've never been one to keep a foot in both camps. I think it's a shame that people feel they 'must' go back so frequently for whatever reason. Apart from anything else, it's such a waste of holiday time when you could be exploring other, more exciting parts of the world ;). |

Your parents venture over here though don't they - less reason for you to make the journey :D
My trouble is that I have to visit 3 countries when I visit as we are all spread out.. Ireland, Italy and England.. bloody relatives... :sneaky: Em x |

when you say Europe, Em do you have family elsewhere than UK?
It actually makes me feel a bit weary just thinking about the flights and the moving about etc... Em x |

So far - 1 in almost 6 years.
Interesting but not needed. Can't see myself requiring another trip inside another 5-10. I'd rather go to California. Due to be in Athens in July for Alumini reunion but really can't be bothered with going on to UK. Think a few days with friends in Italy/France then some diving in Maldives on return. |

Likewise I just have not had any inkling to do so. There are some however who have not yet left and seek any curtail opportunity too return.
