Usually have friends round on a Friday night for drinks and BBQ or go to theirs. Try to stay off it in the week as I love my Friday night binge and because when I'm boozing I smoke to many ciggies.

Seems to be most days at the moment. I think us Brits tend to drink more than the Aussies - I find my "pot" is empty pretty quickly... But a pint seems a bit uncommon around here, but this is what i would normally drink my beer from!

I have a couple of glasses of wine every evening.
I love that feeling of sitting down with my wine once the kids are in bed. It feels like I can relax then.

Yes I drink every night, although to make me feel better I have a wine and soda, I dont feel like an alky then:D Although I have 2 botles of white wine with 2 bottles of soda! Only joking, maybe 3 glasses.

I probably have a drink most weekends. Sometimes it is just a glass or two of wine but others like this weekend I had loads more as was at a party.

Normally have a drink most nights:o then go daft at weekend.

Have cut down this last week as want to lose some weight and give my liver a break;)

Used to drink, used to smoke.

Haven't done either now for some years. Does not sit well with fitness and bodybuilding.

Not that I mind anyone doing it of course but sometimes I do wonder about some peoples reaction when your offered a drink and say "no thanks I'll just have a <soft drink>" and they try to press gang you into "just one" or just get a bit nasty like they need validation or something.

I've always wondered about that as well. I'm not sure it's validation I think it's just that drinking is a social norm and that people think you're being polite or refusing because of the time of the day.
