Also international & domestic buildings are on opposite sides of the airfield, and the only way to get from one to the other is by road going round the airport, which I think is around a 9km drive.

I have to agree that Perth airport is pretty ordinary. Not as bad as LHR I think Gatwick is better though.

....and Manchester better still of the major airports.

Unfortunately most Australian flights go to Heathrow.
