Clearly Bernie, I wasn't talking about you! In the last few days your posts have made me smile, a feat many aren't able to do at the moment.

Ladies put the handbags away - don't you know it is wine o'clock????

And speaking of handbags, even though I couldn't find the receipt, Strandbags have taken the one that broke and are searching for a replacement/reair if they can't find it. Which is better than I'd hoped for. Unless they just want to keep the bag....no, I must stop being suspicious, as the manager was a lady called Carolyn who came from Yeovil. She wouldn't be nasty to a fellow west country girl would she????

ok - so not too bad today. Friday after all.

I made a decison last week to begin divorce proceedings after thinking it through with some friends on BE. Bit the bullet and lodged with court - cost me almost a weeks wages. So have not eaten all week (kidding).;)

I just found out (my own fault for not reading the small print) that the process servers fee can almost double if they have to make several attempts to locate and serve him.....

I can feel a large glass of wine evening coming on.

Cadbury's?

Anyway, as part of your house hunting, try here.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Almondsbury

It's where I lived when we moved to Bristol. It's tucked away near the M4/M5 interchange, but you would never know it. It wasn't cheap, or even close to cheap, but that may have changed.

Relatively good day. Was told that a mole one doc and a nurse were very concerned about is totally benign by the main doc, Tiddler's Orthodontist is very happy with her teeth and doesn't need to see her for three weeks so no medical appointments for me and her for a few weeks. Other stuff is still crap and will continue to be so but looking on the bright side.

NB and Chris, just put each other on ignore please.

My day has been OK, did a bit of housework then took the dog round the regional park for a walk, got home feeling knackered so will make a cuppa and chill out.

:)

May I just add how green and gorgeous our regional park was looking today, I never tire of going there, loads of families having picnics and BBQs - really nice to see.:)

Last 24 hours have been shit. Just about to frogmarch teenager to apologise to police for the appalling waste of police resources that were used last night.

After that I shall come home and put my feet up for a little while. I am still full of cold and just pegging out the washing has wiped me out.

At least the sun is shining, what a beautiful day in WA.

Beautiful day... Conquered spudshed, with only one minor skirmish lost...( The tangerines scored a small victory...) But I emerged the overAll winner....

Until I tried to order a cheeseburger from the old blokes on the rotary club sausage sizzle stand... The low cut top and hubba hubba bra trying to contain those puppies got me a The Works burger by mistake....:o

i would like to think the old bloke dropped the $2 coin on purpose so I'd have to lean over to retrieve it.... One can dream.....

Lovely day. Been apple picking with the kids and OH. Now got half a ton of apples to cook as there is no way we are going to eat them all before they go rotten otherwise!

Re: How has your day been?

Have spent TWO days at a swimming meet, doing timekeeping and counting laps. Despite DD having been ill last week, she managed to get a PB and came 4th (out of 4!!) in her 200 breaststroke, and narrowly missed a PB in her 100 free, by 0.2 seconds, so the coaches were pretty pleased with her progress, as she has been injured/ill since February.
Got home and OH had done the ironing, but had folded my tops and put them on a chair, so they were all crumpled again!!

DD has now given me her URTI- sore throat, sneezing etc, so I think a dose of wine is called for.

Played cricket (and won) on a glorious Brisbane day.

Looking forward to some Shiraz and the oddly hypnotic spectacle that is an F1 Grand Prix later.

Doesn't get much better than that.

One dark choclate prune cake a la womans weekly waiting to be topped with toasted marshmallow frosting and two thermomix lemon yogurt drizzle cakes drizzled.... Thats one for us and one for HIS works morning tea tomorrow.....

IF they last the night.....

Gorgeous has spotted them... So its looking a little unlikely right now... Could always hide one in the beer fridge..... But then HE will find it when HE stops painting for the day..... I KNOW! I'll hide them in the dish washer...

Well I am knackered, washed and straightened hair, did ironing for work stuff for tomorrow, had to listen to my Galah shouting each time I left the room, too tired to cook so had some porridge for tea:o

Now got some serious business of some paperwork to do. I don't much care for Sunday evenings.:o

Eddie you made me laugh big time first about your boobs then about hiding the cakes. thank you for the laugh. Reminds me of my sister. She had boys and you know what they're like with biscuits. She would empty them into the tin then 2 hours later would find one left so they hadn't actually emptied the tin. She took to buying herself chocolate ones and the boys ordinary plain ones and she hid her chocolate ones in the washing m/c cos she knew they'd DIE rather than open that.

My day has been good really. I've just moved house so I did a bit more cleaning -forced into organising the laundry when I accidentally flooded it then spider proofed the outside with a mask and spray can. It was my 60th birthday so I cooked a pizza and poured a wine. I also did a ritual house cleanse with a bunch of burning sage - smoking it's called, purifies and lets out any bad energy. Having inherited a filthy house from a vendor that made considerable difficulties and caused me extra expense I wanted to rid myself of "her" from the house and make it really mine. I've cleaned it inside and got professionals to pressure hose the crud and webs from the outside and did the spider spray and sage cleanse and had a champagne, Now it feels really mine and clean both physically and spiritually. It's a good feeling.

I bagged up all the dirt and emptied the vac cleaner bag into a box and posted it to the bitch telling her one way or another I was determined she would deal with her dirt. She got one of "my letters". I'm just not the woman to mess with.

Just so funny that you posted her dirt to her!!

Sometimes, when I end up cleaning other peoples dirt, I want to send it to the perpetrator too!!

Well I've washed bedding, towels and clothes and dried all items in the house on hangers all over the place...

Had lamb chops and mash for dinner, with cake and custard for pud.

Now watching the grand prix! Currently Webber in pole! Button is in 14

A little bittersweet today. My brother drove down from his house 3 hours away to say goodbye to me since I'm going home tomorrow. :)

I'm all packed and now so will spend tomorrow with my mom; probably the last time I'll see her seeing how she's 87 and I don't know when I'll get back to Canada again. :(

Wiltshire is a landlocked county. The Avon is tiny as it flows through, and mostly pebbly or mud.

In the context of your sentence, that is the way it appeared, but perhaps I should have put a winking smilie in, as I was being light hearted. Maybe it is too early in the morning for all that.
