Taking both looks, personality and brains into account on a scale of 1 - 10 how attractive do you think you are?

How would you rate your partner? Are they more, less or about the same level of attractiveness as you?

5 out of ten for me, just average and 10 out of 10 for Mr PP

I'm afraid you'll have to enlarge the scale a bit for me to fit on . . . make it 1 to 100 say . . . in which case I'd be about a 17.

My missus would be a 90 odd.

It's in the eye of the beholder anyway. In general, to someone else you are either attractive or not attractive. There's no scale involved.

mmm....kind of agree with that...although there are degrees of how attractive you find someone...and why...ie; dont really at first, but grows on you....or really good looking but turned out to a psycho so now find them repulsive? Brad Pitt/George Clooney etc.... the milkmans a nice bloke...kind of do?!! see what I mean?
Also you can think someones attractive.....but not actually fancy them? am I complicating things?!

I suppose the question should be: What percentage of people do you think think you are attractive?

I think it goes without saying that I am obviously stunningly gorgeous with the greatest personality in the world. My husband definitely agrees.

Well, was talking about this topic with friends on the weekend and I scored a 9 (I apparently lost points because my boobs were too big and I am prone to excessive gossiping!!!). I think we were all lying though, I gave someone a 8 but I secretly think they are a 6. God I'm such a bee-atch!!

I would rate Mr P a 9. He loses points for having such a stinky arse.

YOu can also fancy someone but not find them all that attractive too. Personality, brains and sense of humour do it for me much more than looks.

For me I think I'm probably a 5. I'm average looking, middle aged and still overweight. My husband thinks I look pretty good though. The OH looks exactly like Jamie Hyneman from Mythbusters, so you can make up your own mind how attractive he is.

Ah, but attractive and good looking are two different things. So are we talking about attractiveness or good looks?

I don't even consider looks when I meet someone. I have to feel comfortable in someones company to like them. Anyone who makes me feel inferior or uncomfortable will never be my friend. I consider myself middle of the road. I think I have nice eyes and a bubbly personality. Sounds like a bloody dating advert!!!!

You're absolutely right. Ok, on an attractiveness scale I would probably rate myself higher. It makes me sound a little full of myself, but I'm smart, I think I'm funny, witty and can hold a conversation with anyone. And I have an accent that most people say they like (why I don't know!) So, overall on a purely non-physical scale I'm a 7. Or a 6.
