Hovis

Dont ask me why, but for some stupid reason I keep getting cravings for Hovis. I've never seen or tasted anything like it in Aus. Whats the most similar thing you've found in Aus . or does everyone hate it ?

Theres probably other stupid things that you've craved as well.... I reckon thats my most quirky though.

I really really want Krackawheat... :( can't find anything that tastes similar and haven't found any UK shops selling it. I'm a broken woman till I get some.

I used to love the Warburtons loaf in the wax packets when I went to uni in Liverpool, mmmmm it was yum, the bread here is ok...not like that stuff they have in America which is sweet, YUCK!

Re: Hovis

Yes Warburtons Toastie...but not as toast, just thick butty.

Bread here should be better because generally the wheat is better quality and higher protein (a lot of Canadian wheat in the grist and the milling processed used is what sets Warburtons a side in the main).

However, I have yet to find anything as good as Warburtons.

No offence peeps but all this craving for breads could indicate a gluten intolerance/addiction.

Have fun with that.

Greggs steak bakes and Ginsters chicken balti pasties. Aussie pies and pastries just don't measure up.
