My wife does a pretty good pea and ham soup. With the exy Multi-Whole-Grain-Pips&Bits-in-it bread from Safeway ($5 a loaf) she buys it is great.

I think it even involves an actual pig's hoof.

1 Ham Shank, split peas, (bag of pot herbs) thats carrots, onion, sweed, leek, few leaves of of cabbage, potatoes, black pepper a little salt to taste,

this will even shift Man Flu

Pea and Ham soup from Axxxxxx Kitchen in Guilford, Perth is something that people travel far and wide for. They also do great "big boy" burgers. The fire pit you can sit around is great for socialising too.

I didn't put the full name in, as I don't know if that will be classed as advertising. But anyone in the northeast of Perth or the hills area will probably know of this place.
