Ive had Allied Pickfords and Masons in to quote me, both advised not to take the Fridge Freezer because it won't work efficiently, if you are to take it then to use it as a beer fridge only and not foodstuff.
A friend who lives in Brisbane told me last week what he did with regard to the TV, he said a UK tv is set at 500mhz i think and Australian tv's are set differently, however if you buy a cheap DVD with onboard tuner you can use the TV.
That's what i'm doing anyway and he said he'll come and sort it for me.
Hope it helps.

We took our Hoover frost free fridge freezer, and it worked perfectly.
In fact it went to aus and back twice, and we still have it working fine.
Just remember that when they ship it in the container it has to be cleaned out and the doors left slightly ajar.
We put a dry unused tea bag in each section of the fridge and freezer for the journey as this dries up any condensation left still inside ( and it does work), we were told to do this by the packing company.
And dont forget if you have handles that protrude slightly then unscrew them and pop in a bag and put in one of the draws as they will get knocked off.
Hope this helps.

Not sure I'd bother with the TV and all the hassle that'll involve - we didn't take ours at the suggestion of Kent (the firm we used who were brilliant) so I sold it on ebay before we went and got a brand spanking new one on arrival

Just a quick addition - for some reason the fridge handles and things that are a shiny white plastic yellowed slightly in transit. Very odd and I thought it was ruined - after a day in the daylight it went white again....
