Hello
Hope somebody out there can help me, I've started to apply for jobs now and had an email back today from one employer who couldn't open my attachment and asked if i could attach it as a PDF or RFT format WTF

Any advice on how to do this, had a quick look via google and tried on a couple of websites to convert from word to pdf and just keep getting error messages
So if any one can give me any advice please do
Thanks again

The RFT? do you mean RTF (rich text format), if so you can do that in either word or works by clicking on save as, type in the name and then in the box underneath that you can choose the type of file to save it as find RTF and click on save, should save in RTF format.

You need some software to convert from word to pdf (i.e acrobat professional originally but there are others.
In Microsoft office Word (i assume this is what you have created it in) you can save file as and choose rtf from the drop down box. You may lose some formatting so you will need to check it.
If you get really stuck PM me and i will send you my email address. You can then send me the document, I will convert it to pdf and send it back to you.

RTF is the way to go because:
a) it's a universal format, not a Microsoft one, and
b) because it can't contain macro viruses.
From within Word, File --> Save As.. --> Rich Text Format (RTF)
