Hello from a expat in Perth

Hi Guys
Been in Perth a couple of months now and still finding our feet although I must say things are getting a little easier now. It will be great to get to know you guys. I had so many friends in the UK and I need to replace them. Sounds harsh, but its so hard keeping in touch on MSN with the time difference (my mates would kill me if they read this) I know it wont be the same, as some have been friends half of my life, they will be hard to replace, but you have to start some where and if there is one thing I have learnt about mates is you can't live with em and you can't live without em

Perth is now the most popular destination in Oz for UK ex-pats, you will soon have a bunch of chums.

We love it, the kids love it. The peace and quiet and family time is perfect for us. Some call it boring but we like it that way.

What worries me most is what if I don't like it? I don't want to go just to come back two years down the line with a disjointed career and much poorer.
...same worries as everyone I suppose.
