I think Heath may agree with you on that one, the poor guy had pneumonia.

I shall leave that up to interpretation but that combination would be more peaceful

I think they are saying he had pneumonia. pretty scary stuff. I had pneumonia last year but as i was young they didn't think that was what it was so i was left at home for 3 weeks untreated. apparently it was a 'virus', then next thing being rushed to cardiac care in an ambulance. Poor guy, and his poor little girl.

He had pneumonia but there were sleeping tablets all around his body?
Hard to know what's true and what's not, of course, but all the signs so far seem to point to an overdose, deliberate or not.

Didn't he split from his girlfriend a couple of years ago? I may have that wrong, but if so then hopefully the 2 year old wasn't used to seeing him all the time anyway and so it won't have such a big immediate impact on her.

Still sad though isn't it, not to be able to get to know your dad when you grow up? Have seen pics of them together so it looked like they had a fair bit of contact. I still find it shocking when someone who is young dies, pretty tragic however it happens.

Yes of course, I'm not saying it isn't sad. On the other hand there are a lot of people who have grown up without a parent (or sometimes without both parents) and whilst it may be hard it doesn't have to ruin your life.
I hope the daughter manages to have a normal childhood out of the media spotlight, with out any contact with the world of celebrity/redcarpet/drugs, and has a normal happy life!

It is so sad. Maybe his breathing wasn't great because of his chest infection and the sleeping pills affected his respiration further and caused him to go unconscious. Not that I am a DR LOL.

It is so tragic. I remember seing pictures with him and his family, they seemed so happy. I had no idea that he had split from his partner. It is so sad that someone dies alone like that and so young.

Presumably they have still not done the post mortem so to state what killed him, whether drugs or not seem presumptuous.

True, but I guess it is tempting to speculate, which as you say is wrong really. Just because the drugs were on his bedside table, doesn't necessarily mean that his death was drugs related. I hope for his family's sake it wasn't.

120,000 people die each year in America by taking perscription drugs as directed by their Doctor.
