Chemist has said hayfever has started early in Melbourne with all the strong winds blowing the damn stuff about.

I'll have to try that next spring too. The late spring here was awesome, but October onward has been miserable. So bad that we need a new word for miserable. ITA with Luma, it's the worst year for me as well in the 4 years here so far.

A couple of years ago there was another thread on this subject and someone suggest chewing gum to help. I tried it and it made a huge difference.

I'm not sure it the chewing action helps move the pollen out of the sinuses. I mentioned it to an ear , nose and throat specialist and he dismissed the idea but it helped me.

Never suffered it oz but one of the kids has it big time which is a pain, especially around exam time!!
Many people have advised that one way to overcome it is to consume local honey but needs to be 'produced' very close to where you live. Thats always been hard to comeby here in the 'burbs. Could be an old wives tale but we've recently taken up bee keeping and are close to harvesting a fair bit shortly so will let you know if it works for her.
