Have you ever tried Googling yourself?
I've heard a few famous people in interviews mentioning that they've googled themselves, so thought I would give it a try 
Was really surprised to see how many times my name appeared on the net!
It's not really that common, so was really weird seeing it there
Anybody else done it, and did you find anything interesting?

My name comes up a few times but it's not me.
It's quite funny though as I have the same name as a glamour model

i did it a while back and got loads of links to a type of jewelery. Best bit of all, i loved most of the stuff i saw!!

At one time googling "pollyana" brought up a whole page of results mentioning "lettuce" and " British Expats" in the same sentence

Just googled 'Tiawamutu' and there were 10 pages of stuff, and the top of the list was............................................... .................................................

Fortunately for internet security, there is a bloke who is so prolific in his field that his name comes up in all the first 200 pages.
So I get minimal net-time - good.
There was a time I came up after a few results on one site but not now.

When I'm teaching people how to use the Internet I often get them to try a search on their name - always goes down well (people are always interested in themselves!) and sometimes get some interesting results. I like seeing what others with my name have done - one works for Nasa - something I once dreamed of long ago.
