Unhappy Have you ever........

had one of those days or weeks or months, where everything costs money!!!

Just seems like someone is taking the p all the time......

Last week, MOT (had to have 4 new tyres prior to) then the car tax and insurance due, kids on half term, constantly think I am a money pot.....littleun comes in today, with huge hole in bottom of trainers, only had them a couple of weeks, look at eldest ones and he looks like he is some neglected child, got friend stopping just gone to blow up air bed and hair dryer has blown up!!

Kids turning up on doorstep to spend day with boys, no food, so constant army of food supplies....bless em I know its not their fault!

All the money I seem to be saving for TRA and Aus, is just slipping through my fingers..........:curse:

I know its not much and I have so much else to be thankful for, but just needed to moan!!

Thank you! Ems x

Yes we have plenty of times like that, all comes at once.

If you've only had those trainers a couple of weeks take them back

Yes!

This week:

New tyre on car £60
Fly wheel on car - possible £450 if warranty won't cover. I'll find out tomorrow.

Daughters communion dress, head dress and shoes £130
Daughters brownie subs £15
Kids school photos £22
Son's summer uniform £15 (even though it's freezing!)

This is all extra to normal outgoings.

We are seriously skint

Edit - next month just as bad.

Step daughters 18th party plus money for her birthday will cost us about £400

My daughter is 8 and wants a nintendo DS plus games (£140 ish) plus a bowling party £110.

Plus it's my 2 nieces and my BIL birthdays plus we're off to France for 2 weeks.
By the time we get to Australia we'll have nothing

I sometimes wonder what I did wrong that every time I think we are getting on top, a great big boot comes & squashes me down again!

But hey! It's only money & there's more to life right?
