Happy Birthday Soapy
Tis the bald, pish talkng Scots birthday (2nd August) and all the Carberys wish him many happy returns of his 54th birthday
Apart from talking a load of pish he has helped countless expats settle and make friends through his legendly meets and deserves the praise of us all

Along the long and winding road of emigration we all need help at times.
Maybe a shove here, or a pull there, but above all some humour to keep us sane and grounded.
I was lucky in that I found Soapy when I was walking that tightrope.
Behind the mask of pish is a modest and very caring and considerate family man.
He was one of the bonuses I was not expecting Australia to give me.
Happy birthday mate.
