aw, thanks Julie, and please don't feel bad. Darren was very much a live for today kind of person and he'd probably we wondering what all the fuss was about if he was around right now. We're desperately sad for his family, and as friends not to have him around but we also know that life does indeed go on.

I've had a lovely day, despite the sadness. I got some lovely gifts from family, the best of which were the huge hugs and kisses from my girls. Mike took me to Docklands for lunch, and I've had a lovely meal with flowers tonight.

In actual fact, everything has been all the more special to me today probably because of what has happened. It's made me refocus on what's important in life, and make the most of my beautiful family.

I'll toast to Darren tonight, but I'll be toasting myself too

Well I'm glad you've had a good a day as you could have done. I keep kicking myself for being so insensitive, but I really didn't mean it honest
I've got so much on my mind at the moment that I really didn't think...
But you're right, it is at times like this that you appreciate what you do have.
