For pure class, I really loved Sting's recent Symphonicity gig. We had great seats and it was really special being outdoors watching this massive professional line-up on a balmy Summer night.
For sensory overload, I loved Pnau who had the loudest and most surreal stage show... for nostalgia, Bon Scott out the front of AC/DC in front of about 150 people at a country high school hall... and for sheer wtf value, Bob Geldoff headlining the swill fest that was the Goondiwindi B & S Ball.

Thats definitely beyond my comfort zone. I'd rather go to Millwall as an away fan.
Talk about an alien environment... especially if they work out your from Melbourne.

My favourite of all time. Michael Shrieve (who was on drums) was only 17 at the time and plays one of the most memorable drum solos of all time.
Also, Machine Gun @ Fillmore East NYE 1969
