Default Got a caravan to live in

Well some of you will know we are doing the owner builder bit and have had our house on the market for nearly 9 months, well house has sold and we had the awful job of trying to buy a caravan big enough to live in without spending heaps as its all tied up until settlement, well we have been given, yes given a 9 metre caravan to live in. Well thanks be to up above our luck is changing!
Am off up to the block to paint the inside a rather nice cream colour and debate how to fit it out. It only has the kitchen bit left in and has had the rest stripped out so will be doing a bit of interior design to make it comfy to live in for the next 6 months or so.
Its funny we left the Uk after spending 3 months in a caravan and are now going back to the same thing, the only difference being we are not waiting for a visa to appear, we figure if we are on site we will have more time to build the house. I really would like to be in by Christmas.

Good luck with the house build Jenny, I think you are very brave especially living in a caravan for so long. Hope the roof is ok with all the rain we will be sure to have in the coming months.
Its lovely where you are building, my niece lives not far away from there in Muchea.

Would be really good to see some pics along the way !

Bought 3 tubes of silicone earlier tonight and told hubby to go over the roof seals on the caravan. Managed to paint most of it a nice cream colour inside, my roller fell to bits and I only had one paint brush with me. FIL came to help me and managed to splatter himself with paint, MIL sat on a chair watching the comedy.
