I noticed they got another reporter to do the "we love Tracey"tonight.

They still won't let it drop:banghead:

C9 and ACA are milking this for their own benefit now.

F**k I hate that programme - it's The Daily Mail of Aussie TV.

This is true - i know one of his 'right hand men' and with family and friends he really is a gentle giant who finds his whole screen persona very laughable and all about entertainment value. I love Gordon Ramsey - however i wouldnt want him as my head chef :rofl:

Ramsey is A LEGEND.

I think he's right,
Germain Greer or some other bra burning pc brigade homo is playing the homophobic card....

There is a clip of him being chased by women asking him what his wife thinks, then they show all these short clips of his foul outbursts to make something of it...

Media hype to destroy him here, I think its because he is a pom.....bbboooo hooooo.....

Re: Gordon Ramsay

I can remember a story that broke here about Sol Trujillo (not that I'm defending him but...) Aussies were spewing at him for taking offense on a BBC show to the aus media and rudd aiming racist jibes at him (Australians racist! Who would ever think aussies could be racist...;)). They were all very unrepentant and said he has no sense of humor and doesn't understand the aussie way of poking fun at each other. Well looks like the shoe is on the other foot and aussies don't seem to like it either with the very unrepentant ramsay taking aim at what's her name (not worth remembering)... Turn about is fair play...

Re: Gordon Ramsay

Although not a huge Ramsey fan myself it looks like the media have done a complete hatchet job on Ramsey, i saw a clip from the actual incident where he is supposed to have attacked TG, its clear its a joke and a bit of banter, TG and her trashy form of investigative journalism should be a bit thicker skinned. Its schocking how the pack mentality of the media works these days, on a so called serious news segment this morning attacking Ramsey for being oafish and vulgar they call him a "Pasty Pom" hello.
The british tabloid media are probably the worlds worst but it looks like the aussies are fast catching up plus the worst thing here is how much media is connected to each other ie a TV channel is in the same stable as radio and newspaper and internet outlets.

I love the fact Rudd got involved.

Surely there are more important things than worrying about TV personalities and having to comment on them in this day and age. Politics and entertainment are two very different things (although many governments seem to forget this at times), and they should stick to what they know.

It's all entertainment and too many people forget this. I'm quite sure TG has been called this before, but does she come out and say it all the time?

It'sa joke - surely the public at large can see that. But then let's do some pommy bashing - it;s good fun as well, to the xenophobe's out there...

Ramsey's a legend.

The TV station should get their arses kicked for pandering to her. They'd have been better off paying for her to take it to court, instead they are as stupid as she is:curse:

They all need to grow up and get over it:rolleyes:

If it had been an Aussie personality slagging off a British presenter the Aussie press would have been suggesting a teaspoon of cement was in order.

Dear Lord, talk about blowing things up out of all proportion. Can't believe Gordon has given an apology, I bet that's because of the reaction of the UK media to the matter rather than Ms Grimshaw's peculiar 'rebuttal'

And has Kevin Rudd really seen the need to comment? That can't be for real?

Thank god all you people who have seen this for what it is!! I thought it was just me going nuts here with all the air-time given to this for poor old 'Saint Grimshaw!'( I wanted to peuch when she said she was humbled by the "avalanche of support" last night).

I just could not believe my ears when Ruddy started spouting about what a low-life Gordon was. Funny - I don't remember him waggling his finger at all those bad boy footy lads after their antics recently. So apparently calling someone a pig/lesbian as a joke (however badly done or not) is worse than all their gangbanging, punching umpires on the footy pitch and women off the pitch etc etc. What a fine moral compass he is...
Talking of xenophobes - did anyone watch Good News Week the other night. Some comedian on there talking about Susan Boyle - saying she was fed up and over her, and i quote "so, she swears - duh she's scottish, so, she's ugly - duh she's scottish" nobody batted an eyelid at that - she is apparently fair game because she is not an aussie...perhaps ruddy should make her sit on the naughty step now!

Has Kevin Rudd really got involved or was he asked a question and then he answered it?

Haven't got any background on this story but it does seem to be twisting a few knickers, both Australian and English

PS: And now Scottish ;) :D
