I endorse this message wholeheartedly.

Especially at a time of deeply religious significance.

Why can't people just leave it alone and allow the judicial system to run it's natural course?

Or, if the abuser is connected to the Catholic church, just allow it to be hushed up?

Common decency people, please.

I spent the day in Hervey Bay in a nice little Irish pub drinking Guinness & Kilkenny. 99% of places were shut but the important one that sold beer was a shining beacon like the burning bush. I even refrained from eating meat, choosing fish for lunch. Not because Jesus said so but because I had a mixed grill in the pub last night & fancied a grilled Barra fillet today.

Sounds great, I wish my day was booze-based but, despite evidence to the contrary, it wasn't ... I dealt with a lot of Family Shit (tm) then shut down thanks to red wine and RockWiz.

Tassie Salmon tomorrow, I'm in charge of the grocery shop :)

Spent it gardening mostly. Tidying up after OH had butchered a few hedges and shrubs. Well, he is occasionally enthusiastic when he has the opportunity to play with power tools. My only gripe is that he put a "step" in the hedge to match the step in the wall -almost in the same place, but not quite - but not in the other 3 places the wall steps down. I'd have gone for a straight line, but what is done is done.

He was going to cook a barbecued meal last night, but the gas ran out, and being good friday, we ended up with boiled corn and burgers cooked by me, inside. Hopefully he will get a gas bottle today, as the shops will actually be open.

Had a barbie, some friends over. Nothing to do with religion, just taking advantage of a holiday. :)

Today, gardening - lots of it. Hubby is putting the roof frame up on the bali pub.

We're on a country property, camping.

Vim, isn't Good Friday the big one as that is when we have to be suitably sombre when the old boy gets nailed up? All will be forgiven (and forgotten) by Sunday if I have my Theology correct.

It was good primarily because I wasn't at work, past this I don't care to analyse :D

Spent the day working but that was how I planned it. Today will be my last shift - nights and the clocks are going forward here for the start of BST so only 11 hours. It'll be weird as its a factory shutdown so will only be a handful of people on site.

So when did Stalin take over running the site? Did I miss the coup? Since when did this site seek to stop free speech and censor posts to not allow speculation? What is wrong with speculation and gossip?

Stalin came in after Chris90210 had a crack at it.

To be honest he's been like a breath of fresh air.

The thread in TIO has now also been deleted.
When the Saville case first came to light a lot of speculation was rife and people were being named when they had nothing to do with the case. A decision was taken at that time to stop people speculating, and possibly issuing slanderous statements, on this site.
If you do not like this policy take it up with Sue by pm.

End of.
