So, since we left the UK we have:
-spent a week in Perth over christmas
-spent new year in Fremantle and watched the round the world yacht race leave
-visited the little penguins at penguin island
-waded with dolphins at Bunbury
-tried as many wines as possible in the Margaret River region
-climbed the bicentennial tree at Pemberton :scared:
-visited wave rock
-seen the superpit in Kalgoorlie
-driven across the Nullarbor, avoiding all wildlife and not falling asleep once
-visited the outback at Broken Hill
-spent a week in Sydney with friends
-spent Australia day visiting wineries with friends in Orange
-seen the big winch and stayed underground at Coober Pedy
-seen the big red rock and the smaller red rocks at Uluru and Kata Tjuta
-visited the Devil's Marbles
-spent a week in Adelaide
-tried as many wines as possible in the Barossa Valley region
-driven the great ocean road
-stayed on Kangaroo Island
-seen real live koalas and kangaroos and wild camels and wild horses and a snake (briefly)
-tracked down as many Big Things as possible
Now we have fallen in love with Melbourne.
Jealous yet?

WOW!
What a fantastic way to start your new life!
Yes I'm definitely jealous!
(And we also love Melbourne!)

At least the winter isn't as bad here as good old Brum. It snowed twice there last week!
