How's it going? The wait is a killer isn't it. We are hoping to get our CO in the next few weeks but feels like it has been a long haul.

Thanks for the reply. Its good to keep up with like minded folk. (even my hubby remembered you and yours which is saying something as he has a mind like a sieve lol) Still trying to navigate my way around this site. Its a bit addictive (especially of housework needing done!) Going to friends tonight for dinner though so everyone ready bar me!..............really addictive stuff.
Where are you hoping to settle in Brisbane? Were now looking at Brisbane and Melbourne (not so great climate) want to stay within minutes of beach though and can quite get to grips with Brisbane subs!
Are you going on rekkie soon? Been pricing flights for us 4 for Easter but V expensive! Not sure what to do.
Walkabout was good but a bit cramped. I enjoyed meeting folk though > Would be great to do again after your rekki and plan maybe a meal so as everyone would have a seat!
I'm still waiting on my skills assess back from Australian Nursing and Midwifery council but hope to have visa app in before christmas.
I had to get all docs certified by JP for Skills Assess but seems that nurses or police and others can certify for DIMA so this will hopefully be easier.
Need to master all this stuff with attachments as some V good!
Anyway al ready all ready to go for dinner bar me so quick shower, make up slapped on ( you know wot its like being a mum LOL)_
Keep us up to date with wots happening!

From Glasgow and Renfrewshire, moved around a lot. Now living in NSW, about an hour away from Sydney.
Would be great to hear from other Scots in Sydney as there doesn't appear to be many here?
