Hi
For all those people back in England I thought I would help with your visa worries (and unlike migration agents my appraisal is free and easy!!!)
If you can answer yes to the following then you will get a permanent visa...
1. Have you an occupation on the skills in demand list ?
2. Can you prove that you have been working in that occupation ? (if you write a letter yourself and get it signed by a solicitor that will do!!)
3. Are you under 45 years of age?
4. Can you speak English?
Congratulations YOU WILL GET A VISA.....
That is how easy it is. It is not difficult to get a visa for Australia it just appears so because of all the paperwork you have to go through. But that is how Australia works...........there is heaps of paperwork for everythng in this country especially if you want a job when you get here.
So dont bother with a migration agent, they are laughing all the way to the bank ( I may start up myself!!!) because things appear to be difficult it doesn't mean they are.
And when you arrive you will find your highly sort after occupation actually has twenty Australians applying for it, and you are back of the queue !!
This is not a negative post, but it is 100% realistic.
Australia is not a hard place to get into, it just appears that way.

what a silly post. can you guarantee that all visa applicants will get in based on a letter they write themselves and get a solicitor to sign? what if you only have 6 months work experience or only work 6 hours a week? it is not that simple so don't why insult the intelligent people on this site? some people will find it easier than others but many struggle - just read the posts on this site.
