Do you not think that 90% of the inmates in prison have issues? And again, correct me if I'm wrong but driving under the influence is a criminal issue. |

Battling addictions is difficult and the will has to be there to want to stop. When people get to rock bottom then they often start to realize that they need help. As long as they are supported in their addiction (often by loved ones or well meaning people) then they don't stop. I feel sorry for him in many ways, however he wasn't taking drugs in the privacy of his own home (his choice, imo), he was driving his car and was unable to control it. It was pure luck that he didn't kill anyone. |
