Anyone seen this? (I'm not going to embed the vid 'cos it has foul language on it, but it's on the linked site...
SEVERAL police officers were witnesses to a bloody brawl involving dozens of players and spectators that marred a Territory football Grand Final.
A video of the post-siren brawl that followed the Alice Springs Grand Final between West and Pioneer on Saturday has been posted on the internet.

I've heard the expressions, "it's on", "flying the flag" and "on for young and old" relating to brawls but what does "throwing coathangers" mean?

He was just as aggressive as the morons on the pitch. Had he been down there I imagine he would have been "throwing coathangers" as well
