I'm probably showing my age here, but who remembers those torpedo shaped coca-cola flavoured lollipops on a white paper stick? They were great, except for the paper stick always started to disintegrate once the old choppers got stuck into the lollipop! Also who remembers Jamboree bags? Always a disappointment inside

and the ease with which one could get a purchase on each sweet..in the packet...
I can say this as I am well below my BE quota when it comes to this sort of thing...in fact I have several years of backlog...

Confession time..as a pre-10 year old (before the age of criminal consent notice) I used to rather like Love Hearts...it was the sourness...

My mum had a passion for Walnut Whips.
I loved anything that could be found in a 5 or 10 penny mix .... except horrible Parma Violets.

Limited local experience here...I'm tipping that the Violets are the same as Love Hearts only coming in one purple flavour? Because that's how they taste - how they probably would taste, rather?
