Flying on Friday

We were forming an attachment to the people behind us on the train from York to Manchester!
We did sooooooo well in banning the kids' gran from waving us off.. but the boys stayed at her house for the week before we left and my BIL and his wife brought them to meet us at the airport. They were 'supposed' to drop them and go.. but no. Tears ensued all round.
Fortunately the extremely stroppy check in woman lessened the impact (although the one on airside who got us onto an earlier flight to Heathrow because of the horrific delays due to the gale force winds was too lovely.)
Don't underestimate how emotional/apprehensive/excited/terrified you will feel and good luck

Don't get a tfn or a mobile the first day - it's tedious...
Head to the coast and see if you can get yourself a lovely dolphin sighting...
